This data table consists of groundwater chemistry information on groundwater within Washington State, and includes data from springs, oil and gas wells, a carbon capture well, and water wells. It incorporates data previously published by the Washington Geological Survey in the geothermal resources geodatabase, as well as data from other federal and state databases, published reports and peer-reviewed articles, and student theses and dissertations. Groundwater chemistry is the identification of major anions and cations, pH, trace elements, and isotopes in water. These data are intended to aid public research in hydrogeology, geologic carbon sequestration feasibility, and geothermal exploration.

This data table, comprising a single feature class in a standalone geodatabase, was compiled to provide chemistry information on groundwater within Washington state and to aid public research in hydrogeology, geologic carbon sequestration feasibility, and geothermal exploration.
